What it is

The International Market and Audience Development fund supports activity that includes an international PR/promotional campaign, an international radio campaign, creating content such as music video clips, social media reels and lyric translations targeted towards international audiences, and an international digital marketing or social media strategy. Eligible costs include artist and creative worker fees, flights, accommodation, per diems, ground transport, travel insurance, visas, freight or baggage costs, childcare, carer and access costs, tickets and registration costs to attend events, and costs associated with reducing environmental impact. The applicant must show matched funding equal to or greater than the grant request on at least a 50:50 basis.

Who it is for

Australian citizens or permanent residents who are practising contemporary music artists, including solo artists, instrumentalists, bands, ensembles, electronic artists, producers, songwriters and composers, or organisations and music businesses on behalf of their artists.
