A six-month hybrid residency seeking five UK-based artists to propose research and development projects for innovative, sustainable systems in photography. Projects should think beyond established norms and envision radical ideas addressing the bigger picture of photographic systems, including material, philosophical, political, legal, structural and other dimensions. The residency includes online seminars from experts, mentorship, facility access, and culminates in an exhibition and symposium in Sunderland in October 2027.
UK-based artists proposing research and development projects for innovative, sustainable systems in photography. Two places are reserved for residents of Northern England and two for artists with disabilities.
