What it is

An online exhibition call from Der Greif, a Munich non-profit for contemporary photography, asking lens-based artists to explore modern folklore, cultural superstitions, myth-making and surrealism. Work may include staged cinematic storytelling, surreal dreamscapes or documentary studies of local legends, ancestral altars and talismanic objects. Selection is based on artistic quality, conceptual clarity, openness to dialogue and process, and engagement with themes of identity and community.
