Six ensemble performers needed for The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me by David Drake. Seeking a multigenerational acting ensemble of queer men who feel and appear genuinely different from one another in age, gender expression, presence, physicality, background, and relationship to queerness and masculinity. The six performers collectively inhabit the autobiographical voice of the play along with memories, lovers, activists, fantasies, and ghosts. Actors should have strong command of language and teamwork, be deeply funny, physically expressive, emotionally exposed, and comfortable speaking directly to an audience. Strong movement ability is a plus. Open to AEA and non-AEA performers. This production may seek an Equity Showcase Code pending casting.
Queer male actors of various ages and gender expressions who can work as an ensemble.
