Ear Out Playhouse is seeking a Production Designer for CLASS, the inaugural production of a newly founded theater company dedicated to intimate, actor-driven work in extraordinary spaces. The role involves collaborating with the director and creative team to create the visual world of a new play by Charles Evered, directed by Jeffrey Meek, presented in the historic Ear Inn in New York City's Tribeca/Soho neighborhood. The upstairs space is being opened to the public for the first time and has never before hosted a play. The ideal candidate has theater design or production design experience, strong visual instincts, attention to detail, comfort working in unconventional spaces, and collaborative and resourceful qualities.
