World premiere of TRIÂNGULO, an explosive new music theatre work set in Rio de Janeiro and Miami during the early 1990s, following Esperança, a young Brazilian woman fighting to survive in the male-dominated world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA. Performed primarily in English with elements of Spanish and Portuguese, combining live music, movement, dance, and realistic staged combat. Written and directed by Emmy nominee Crystal Manich, with music by Latin Grammy nominee Martin Bejerano.
Singers, dancers, martial artists, and athletes who can perform a new music theatre work combining musical theatre, opera, dance, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and mixed martial arts.
Open to artists anywhere.
