What it is

The Glastonbury Festival Emerging Talent Competition in partnership with PRS for Music gives new UK and Ireland-based acts the chance to compete for a performance slot on a main stage. Acts enter for one week when the competition launches. A panel of 30 UK music writers compiles a longlist of 90 acts, which judges including Glastonbury organisers narrow to eight finalists, with live finals in Pilton determining the winner.
