La Guarimba is a short film festival and cultural organisation in Calabria, southern Italy, that aims to return cinema to people and people to cinema. The 15th edition will feature approximately 170 selected films in competition across multiple categories including fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, children's programming, and music video. Films may have had previous theatrical or festival screenings or online availability. Work-in-progress submissions are accepted if the filmmaker notifies when completion is expected.
Filmmakers from any nationality may submit short films of up to 30 minutes in any language and on any theme.
Open to artists anywhere.
