The Fine Odd is an international fine arts publication in two volumes: Volume I focuses on conceptual, documentary, staged, experimental, analog, digital, fashion, retouched and other photographic practices. Volume II features illustration, painting, drawing, collage, printmaking and other print-related techniques, digital art and mixed media related to printing. The publication seeks work that resists easy classification within familiar categories or established aesthetic expectations. The term 'Odd' refers to something strange or unusual, and the publication is interested in work that maintains its own logic rather than fitting completely into dominant tastes or established visual languages. Selection considers individual works both on their own merit and in relation to the overall selection, with placement, order and visual proximity forming part of the curatorial structure.
Artists worldwide without academic training requirements, working in photography or print-based visual arts.
Open to artists anywhere.
