What it is

A fully funded composer-conductor workshop led by Steve Reich where up to five selected composers will develop a new 5-7 minute unpublished orchestral work through two workshop phases in New York City (April 2027) and Grafenegg, Austria (August 2027). Participants receive composition feedback, conducting coaching from David Robertson, and conduct their world premieres with the Tonkünstler Orchestra at the Grafenegg Festival.
