We-Che Nature Art Residency

What it is

We-Che is an artist-run residency in Patagonia, Argentina, near Trevelin on 2 hectares of landscape with river, pine and native trees, adjacent to a 250-hectare protected natural area. The residency encourages artists to connect with Patagonia as a natural, historical and cultural environment and to develop a more respectful relationship between art and nature. Residencies range from 1 week to 2 months. The residency accepts applications year-round on a rolling basis.

What you get

Housing in a private cabin or apartment, workspace, meals (at least 2 per day), access to shared kitchen and private kitchen, studios with tools and facilities including woodworking, book arts, printers and scanners, Wi-Fi, utilities, airport pickup, and one group outing per week for 1 week to 2 months, for $350 USD per week or $1,300 USD per month.
