Culture Helps Solidarity supports arts and culture professionals from Ukraine to sustain creativity, resilience, and community connection during and after the war. This project grant scheme supports small-scale cultural projects that engage with experiences, memories, and histories of people affected by Russia's war against Ukraine through artistic, educational, research-based, or participatory formats. Projects should approach remembrance as ethical, inclusive, and community-centered practice, create meaningful opportunities for reflection, strengthen collective memory, amplify diverse voices, and contribute to responsible public conversation about the war's impact.
Cultural workers, artists, researchers, community organisers, and civil society initiatives based in Ukraine and across Europe who work on projects engaging with experiences and memories of people affected by Russia's war against Ukraine.
Open to artists in Ukraine, Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium and others.
