La Porte Peinte is an international arts centre located in Noyers sur Serein, a medieval village in Burgundy, France. It offers self-directed residencies of 2 weeks to 6 months for artists, makers, musicians and writers in an inspiring environment with private studio spaces, accommodation, and communal facilities. Collaborative residencies are welcome. The centre also offers occasional themed and partnership residencies, and family residencies during specific periods. A limited number of fully and partially funded residencies are available primarily for artists in war zones or facing hardship.
Artists, performers, writers, musicians, filmmakers, photographers and creative thinkers of any stage of career may apply individually or as collaborative groups.
