A competitive residency program offering creative professionals self-directed time in purpose-built private studios set in the forested surroundings of Banff Centre. Studios are designed for writers, musicians, visual artists, and other creative practitioners working in solitude. The program includes flexibility to choose when to focus, collaborate, explore and create. No production support or technical assistance is included; applicants are responsible for bringing all required materials and equipment.
Individual artists working in any discipline who want two to six weeks of self-directed studio time.
Open to artists anywhere.

Private studio space for two to six weeks at Banff Centre, partial housing and meals, private housing on campus, and a Banff Centre Arts Scholarship of CAD $727.97 per week towards tuition, accommodation and meals (CAD $1,001.39 participant cost per week after scholarship applied).
