Artist residency aboard sailboat SV Hawa hosting up to two residents at a time as it transits the US east coast from Charleston SC (departing mid-June) to Baltimore (arriving mid-July, staying at least one month) and returning to Charleston for winter. Artists create work, network with institutions and communities along the coast, and participate in open studios, artist talks, and collaborative activities. The residency accommodates any artistic discipline and offers various studio facilities including metalworking, woodworking, darkroom, fiber arts, and music/media studios.
Artists of any medium aged 21 and over from anywhere in the world who can travel to and physically manage boat life.

Private bedroom in shared housing, full studio/shop space, some meals provided, and accommodation for 6 days to 2 months aboard a sailboat transiting the US east coast. Cost is $600 USD per week, $80 USD per day for stays under 7 days, or $1800 USD per month.
