We-Che Nature Art Residency

What it is

We-Che is an artist-run residency on 2 hectares in the 16th of October Valley near Trevelin, Patagonia, close to Los Alerces National Park. The residency encourages artists to connect with Patagonia as a natural, historical and cultural environment and to develop a more respectful relationship between art and nature. Residents work in private or shared studios with access to various tools and facilities including woodworking tools, book arts facilities, easels and drawing benches. The residency accepts individual artists and teams on a rolling basis year-round.

Artists and creators of any discipline and career stage who wish to spend 1 week to 2 months in residence at an artist-run project in Patagonia, Argentina.

What you get

Housing with private bedroom and fresh bedding weekly, shared and private workspaces with tools and facilities, some meals, Wi-Fi, utilities, airport pickup and return, and weekly outings; no financial stipend provided. Costs are 350 USD per week or 1300 USD per month.
