An international arts residency at a medieval arts centre in Noyers sur Serein, Burgundy, France. La Porte Peinte offers artists and makers space to engage in creative exploration and exchange. The centre provides private studio spaces, accommodation, communal workshop facilities, and exhibition and performance spaces. Residency length ranges from 2 weeks to 6 months. Collaborative groups and families are welcome. Limited fully and partially funded residencies are available with priority given to artists affected by war, natural disasters, economic hardship, or discrimination, as well as women, emerging artists, and practitioners from Africa, Haiti, and Latin America.
