What it is

This fund provides financial support to emerging artists presenting their work at European festivals. It covers costs related to exhibiting or performing, helping artists reach wider audiences through festival platforms. Applicants should be at an early stage in their artistic career.

What you get

Time, space and support to develop work during a residency hosted by partner festivals. EFFEA Discovery: €8,000 for 40 residencies; EFFEA Springboard: €15,000 for 10 residencies. At least 80% must cover artist costs.

  • Proposed residency must involve a leading festival and at least two partner festivals from three eligible countries
  • All participating festivals must be registered on FestivalFinder.eu before submission
  • Leading and partner festivals must have organized at least one festival edition
