The Steepletop Residency is a partially-subsidized two-week or month-long stay at Millay Arts' 11-acre campus in the upper Hudson Valley nestled against the Berkshires. The residency features serene meadows and wooded trails, with access to cultural institutions and natural attractions. Open to any stage of career and all disciplines including acting, animation, architecture, art conservation, choreography, dance, film, music, theater, writing, and many others.

Scholars and creatives with institutional or private funding who can afford the residency fee.

What you get

A two-week or one-month residency from April to November with private bedroom and studio, all meals including chef-prepared communal dinners, groceries, shared kitchen and living facilities, washer/dryer, shared workstation with printer, access to the Nancy Graves Memorial Library, alumni collection, and black and white darkroom, plus a curated cohort of other residents.
