What it is

The CBSO Orchestral Residency is a programme for young musicians to support their transition towards a professional orchestral career. Participants will rehearse and perform alongside one of Europe's leading symphony orchestras under conductor Kazuki Yamada, performing works by Strauss and Clyne. The programme combines music-making, networking, mentoring, and professional development at the CBSO Centre and Birmingham Symphony Hall.

Who it is for

Advanced tuba players aged 21 to 25 who are currently living in the UK (including international students studying in the UK) and aspiring to a professional orchestral career.

Open to artists in United Kingdom.
