What it is

The CBSO Orchestral Residency is a programme designed to support young musicians towards a professional orchestral career. It consists of an intensive residential week combining rehearsal and performance alongside one of Europe's leading symphony orchestras, directed by inspiring conductors, with networking, mentoring, and professional development. The 2027 programme will be conducted by Kazuki Yamada and will perform Strauss - Eine Alpinesinfonie and Clyne - PALETTE.

Who it is for

Advanced trumpet players aged 21 to 25 who are aspiring to a professional orchestral career and currently living in the UK, including international students with appropriate visa permissions.
