Emerging Asian Artists International 2027

What it is

Open call seeking bold, experimental art and technology works by emerging Asian artists. The exhibition theme is 'Prototype' and explores the prototype as an original form that distils essential value. Works may include interactive installations, generative video and image, kinetic and robotic art, immersive and extended reality, and other art and technology works. Previously unpublished works only. Approximately 10 individuals or teams will be selected.

Who it is for

Emerging artists from Asian countries born on or after 1 January 1987, working in art and technology disciplines.

Open to artists in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China and others.

What you get

Artist fee of 3,000,000 KRW per work, installation and materials budget up to 2,000,000 KRW per work, international or domestic travel support, accommodation, and opportunity to participate in the 2027 ACC CREATORS Residency. Exhibition runs 2 April to 22 August 2027.
