Open Call: The City Series London - A Shutter Hub Editions Publication

What it is

An open call for photographers to contribute images to The City Series: London, a publication exploring the people, places, cultures, and contradictions that shape London. Photographers are invited to respond to London as an idea experienced, observed, imagined, and interpreted through the photographic eye. The publication is created in collaboration with Battersea Power Supplies Museum and Gift Shop and will launch in early 2027.

Photographers from around the world may submit up to 10 images responding to London as an idea shaped by experience, observation, and interpretation.

What you get

Selected images will be featured in a 100-image photobook produced by Shutter Hub Editions, available at Battersea Power Supplies Museum and Gift Shop, online, and with selected stockists; photographers will be invited to a launch event at Battersea Power Supplies in early 2027; no payment or royalties to selected photographers.

What you need to apply

• up to 10 photographic images in JPEG format, 10 required
• images must be 300dpi jpegs, minimum 2550px (h) x 1820px (w), up to 10MB, CMYK colour profile
• image files must be correctly named as lastname_firstname_imagetitle.jpg
• paragraph about yourself and your image(s) or project
• disclosure of whether AI was used to create any submitted images; if yes, explanation of how AI was used
