A residency fellowship offering established artists dedicated time to develop an independent project within an international, multidisciplinary research environment. Projects that engage with other disciplines are encouraged, and relevance to South Africa or the wider African continent is considered an advantage. STIAS does not provide specialised art studio facilities.
Established visual artists, writers, filmmakers, composers, designers and practitioners from other creative disciplines with a recognised body of work and a clearly developed project.
