Award for a large-scale sculptural installation designed for permanent outdoor exhibition. The selected proposal will be judged on originality, site-specificity, creative composition, clarity and conceptual coherence, relation to the location and context, and ability to offer an active experience to viewers. Evaluation also considers scale and environmental integration, technical and construction adequacy, public safety, and sustainability and maintenance parameters. The winning work will be unveiled at a public ceremony in June 2027.
Visual artists working in sculpture, installation, sound installation, mixed media, constructions with natural materials, land art, environmental art, ecological art, or works combining art and nature.
Open to artists anywhere.

Runs February 1, 2027 to June 30, 2027
€15,000 award, plus the Foundation covers all construction costs and the artist's travel and accommodation for the February-May 2027 production period. The selected work will be permanently exhibited in an outdoor space in Agios Nikolaos, Crete, and become part of the Foundation's art collection.
