What it is

The Early Career Promoter Fund recognises the vital role independent promoters play in supporting the talent pipeline across England. It offers grant funding and capacity building support to bolster local, regional and national music ecosystems. Support covers booking, programming and promotion of gigs, concerts, club nights, showcases and tours; venue hire, production, artist and DJ fees, crew fees and administration; capacity building through mentoring, coaching, shadowing and workshops; and other expenditure to programme diverse artists, develop audiences and build skills. The fund helps emerging promoters book and promote shows at a scale beyond their current level and build sustainable careers in the grassroots music sector.
