Open call for artists to investigate the 'all too human origin' of their own making process. The first exhibition in the two-part Humain, trop humain cycle seeks works that examine how artworks are made—the actions, decisions, failures, repetitions, habits and corrections that disappear into the finished form. Artists are invited to bring the language of the studio into the exhibition space by reflecting on what happened during the making of their work rather than what it means. All artistic practices welcome: painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, photography, sound, performance, publication, textile, video and digital forms. Maximum three works per artist or collective.
Professional artists working in any artistic practice, whether beginning or established, applying individually or as a collective.
Open to artists anywhere.
