What it is

Open call for artists to create artworks for a new VITAZ campus building. The building is designed for adult patients with physical and orthopedic problems. Artists are invited to create work that contributes to a healing environment through evoking emotions related to hospital settings, creating interaction with building users (patients, visitors, staff) and the outside world. The call follows the Flemish art integration decree. Three suggestions are offered: glass window films for ground-floor consultation rooms to ensure privacy, creative reuse of existing glass windows from buildings being demolished, or artworks for specific locations (exterior spaces, rotunda, park garden, interior spaces like entrance hall, waiting areas, cafeteria).
