Supernova is a springboard for young chamber music ensembles ready to be heard. It offers emerging talent recognition, stage experience, and a flying start to a promising career. Approximately ten Belgian organizations search for new stars of tomorrow. Eight ensembles are selected for the semi-final in December 2026, four advance to the final in January 2027, and two are crowned Supernova winners.
Young, promising chamber music ensembles based in Belgium with an individual perspective on classical music or genres that blend, blend or clash with classical traditions.

Selection to semi-final (December 16, 2026) and potential final (January 31, 2027); two ensembles crowned as Supernova 2027 winners receive a Belgian concert tour, media attention, and airplay on Klara and Musiq3 radio stations; one finalist may win the Supernova Audience Prize of €1,000.
