A staged reading of The Ruins, written by Mae Philippe-Auguste and directed by Shira Holtz. The play follows a small community of survivors in a post-apocalyptic Earth after the wealthy have colonized Mars. The narrative explores climate crisis, mental illness, grief, community, and human resilience. Virtual auditions only. Rehearsals scheduled for weekday evenings after 6pm and weekends, beginning on Zoom and moving to in-person studios in mid-lower Manhattan.
