What it is

O Castro Art Village is a rural creative residency in an abandoned village in Ribeira Sacra, Galicia, Spain, dedicated to regeneration through art and cultural exchange. The programme offers flexible self-directed residencies with no prescribed theme or outcome. Residents use the site, landscape, and atmosphere as creative material or as a space for focused work. The residency is embedded in a living community hosting cultural programmes including the LuscoFusco music and arts festival, the KinoTerra film initiative, and ongoing international residencies.
