What it is

A two-month production residency programme for artists, duos and collectives working in digital art, new media, robotics and bioart. Residencies take place at one of 15 leading European organisations that are part of the EMAP network. The programme is supported by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union and offers intercultural and interdisciplinary exchange between artists and host organisations.

Who it is for

Artists, artist duos, collectives and other artistic collaborations working in digital art, new media, robotics and bioart from EU member states or eligible non-EU countries, excluding bachelor's and master's students.

Open to artists in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands and others.

What you get

A fully funded two-month production residency at one of 15 European partner organisations, including €4,000 artist fee (€2,000 per artist in a duo, €6,000 total for artist duos), €4,000 project budget, free accommodation, travel costs covered by the host organisation, access to technical facilities and media labs, and invitation to a network conference in March 2027.
