What it is

Six composers who have not yet had a work performed by a professional orchestra receive a year of mentorship to develop their orchestral writing skills. The scheme culminates in a performance of a new work by the London Symphony Orchestra. It is run by the LSO in partnership with the Royal Philharmonic Society.

Who it is for

Early-career composers aged 18 or over who are based in the UK, have never had a full orchestral work performed in concert by a professional orchestra, and are interested in writing for a full symphony orchestra.
