Open call for a large-scale sculptural installation designed for permanent display in outdoor space. The prize honours contemporary creators and offers the opportunity to create new work that will remain on permanent display in Agios Nikolaos, Crete, become part of the foundation's art collection, and be part of significant cultural heritage. Works are evaluated on originality, site-specificity, creative composition, conceptual clarity, relationship to place and context, ability to provide active viewer experience, scale and environmental integration, technical and construction adequacy, public safety, and sustainability and maintenance parameters.
Visual artists working in sculpture, installation, sound installation, mixed media, natural materials, land art, environmental art, and ecological art.
Open to artists anywhere.

Runs February 1, 2027 to May 31, 2027
€15,000 prize, plus the foundation covers construction costs and artist travel and accommodation. The selected work will be installed permanently in a public outdoor space in Agios Nikolaos, Crete, become part of the foundation's art collection, and be unveiled at a public ceremony in June 2027.
