Four-week residential stipendium at Künstlergut Prösitz, a Saxon artist house, for professional women sculptors, installers and object artists who are mothers. Participants work in extensive studio facilities including clay and metal workshops, plaster room, spacious atelier and courtyard. Children are cared for on-site by a day care provider so artists can focus on their work, exchange with fellow artists in similar life situations and network. A jury of previous year stipendiates and an art historian curator selects participants based on artistic quality. After the residency all stipendiates participate in a group exhibition with shared catalogue.
Professional women artists working in sculpture, installation and object art who are mothers with children aged 12 or under.
