What it is

FCA accepts applications on a rolling basis for emergency grants. The panel meets monthly to review applications and respond to artists' needs in a timely manner. Panelists are established practicing artists from the disciplines supported. When evaluating applications, panelists consider the urgency of the request, the significance of the opportunity for the artist, the impact the grant would have on the artist's ability to carry out the project, and the strength of the proposed project based on submitted work samples.
