Unbound Voices: New Play Development Series seeks original, unproduced short plays (2-5 characters, under 10 minutes running time) about characters experiencing a moment of change in Queens, NY. Works should be shaped by a Queens neighborhood, landmark, institution, event, or moment in the borough's history. Works in any theatrical style are welcome; bilingual works are encouraged. One submission per writer. Previous workshops and readings are permitted, but submissions must be new, unproduced works.
Playwrights who represent the cultural diversity of Queens, New York City and the United States, writing original short plays.
Open to artists anywhere.
