The Art Explora – Cité internationale des arts residency programme hosts about twenty artists and researchers per year in Paris. Artists pursue research and creative projects while engaging with the French art and professional scenes. The SOLO programme offers 3- or 6-month residencies for individual artists. The COLLECTIVE programme offers 3-month residencies for collectives of artists, or an artist paired with a curator or researcher. Selection prioritises the relevance of projects to art and science, contemporary social, political and ecological issues, and the project's contribution within the French context.
Visual, performing, or digital artists of any nationality with at least five years of professional experience and an international exhibition record, applying individually or as a collective with curators or researchers.
Open to artists anywhere.
