Shoeburyness Commission

What it is

A commission inviting proposals for a creative project that engages local communities and underrepresented voices to respond to the history of Shoeburyness, a former military testing site. The project should creatively collect and bring to life historical and contemporary stories of the people and places across Shoeburyness, reflecting on themes of community, heritage and care. The successful practitioner will engage at least 150 individuals, connect with at least three community groups, and deliver at least six workshops.

What you get
