Participants join an online mentoring programme from February to April 2027 followed by in-person practice at Spring Forward in Limerick, Ireland, learning podcasting fundamentals from broadcast journalist Dany Mitzman. After the festival, artists work on editing, mixing and scripting their episodes, culminating in publication as part of Spring Forecast. Aerowaves seeks three participants based in Europe who are proficient in spoken English and curious about contemporary dance, with no prior podcast experience required; travel, accommodation and a festival pass are provided.
Individual dance and performance professionals based in Europe who are proficient in spoken English and interested in contemporary dance.
Open to artists in Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina and others.
