Writers who have published at least one book of fiction, poetry or drama can apply for a one-month residency in Ljubljana during March or November 2027. The residency is open to published writers from other UNESCO Cities of Literature and provides a grant and travel expenses of €1,250 gross plus accommodation. Creative non-fiction may also be considered if it is literary rather than academic or journalistic in nature.
