What it is

Support for the development of a package of three to five audiovisual projects with international potential for cinema, television or digital platforms. Eligible projects include feature fiction films, creative documentaries and animations (minimum 60 minutes for theatrical release), fiction, animation and documentaries for television or digital platforms (fiction minimum 90 minutes, animation minimum 24 minutes, documentaries minimum 50 minutes), and interactive, non-linear or immersive narratives of any duration. An optional short film of maximum 20 minutes supporting new talent may be added. Projects must be developed within a maximum of 36 months.

Who it is for

Independent European audiovisual production companies that have produced and commercially released or broadcast at least two eligible works of at least 24 minutes since 2020 in at least three countries other than their own.

Open to artists in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands and others.

What you get

Development funding of €10,000 to €100,000 per project depending on format and budget, as a fixed lump sum not tied to costs, for a package of three to five audiovisual projects.

• Support documents for co-production, distribution and financing (co-production contracts, deal memos, signed commitment letters and letters of intent regarding distribution and financing strategy) for all projects
• Dated and signed contract covering rights to artistic material included in the application (must include at least concept, treatment, writing or bible, signed by author(s))
• If project is an adaptation, dated and signed contract proving ownership of majority adaptation rights via option or rights transfer agreement
