What it is

Script development programme for fiction feature films at early stages of development. Experienced and emerging filmmakers develop projects through peer-to-peer group work with professional script consultants. Projects must be original ideas or adaptations with secured rights. Applicants must have at least one previous directorial work and confirm full availability for all modules and the TFL Meeting Event. Working language is English.

Experienced and emerging writer-directors or teams of a writer and director working on fiction feature films in early development stages.

What you get

Three week-long residential modules (April, June, November 2027) in Malta, Estonia, and Turin plus two online modules (September, October 2027), with accommodation, meals, and professional script consultant support during residencies; travel and remaining meals are self-funded.
