Call for artistic project proposals for Kiruna's European Capital of Culture year 2029. Projects are selected based on five criteria: Homemaking (creating safe spaces and belonging), European Adventure (cross-border collaboration and Arctic focus), Perspectives (diversity, accessibility, representation, youth engagement, female perspectives, Indigenous Sámi and national minorities), Finding New Ways (artistic excellence and creative exploration), and Power of Culture (local impact and community engagement). Selected projects will enter dialogues for integration into the broader programme and knowledge-sharing.
Artists, organisations, and cultural practitioners who wish to submit a project proposal for inclusion in the official artistic programme for Kiruna European Capital of Culture 2029.
Open to artists anywhere.
