Making, Research and Experimentation - Textile Residencies at Studio H Canada – February 2027

What it is

A four-week textile residency in rural British Columbia on the unceded territory of the SC'IȺNEW Nation. Studio H welcomes textile and fibre artists working with materials including weaving, stitching, sewing, felting, recycled cloth, and multimedia practices. The residency offers private accommodation, shared studio and living spaces, high-speed internet, and mentoring. Artists interested in sharing their practice through a community workshop should apply by November 1, 2026. The residency costs $2,450 CAD per artist for four weeks.
