Free outdoor street festival in Te Aroha seeking artists to display and sell work, with live music, performance and shared stall options available. Now in its 5th year, the festival takes place on Whittaker Street with a 16m x 13m stretch tent covering part of the street. Features creative items and artworks for sale, live music, street performance, a fashion event, and local cafes and shops open for the day. This year includes special guest performers from Naranjarte, a Spanish theatre company performing puppetry, juggling and illusion. The festival coincides with the NZ Motor Caravan Association's annual Te Aroha Rally, bringing 1,000+ additional visitors.
Artists and makers of any discipline who want to display and sell work at an outdoor street festival.
