The Prix Roger Pic, presented annually by LaScam (the French multimedia authors' society) in partnership with Fisheye magazine, recognises a single photographic portfolio that documents the real world and questions humanity with a distinctive voice. Named after the humanist photographer and copyright advocate Roger Pic, the award seeks cohesive work that engages with real-world subjects and explores the human experience through a singular perspective. The jury is reconstituted each edition and comprises members of LaScam's fixed images commission pre-selection committee, the president of the LaScam-Vélasquez association, and external figures from the photography world, with the preceding year's laureate included when possible.
Photographers from France with a cohesive documentary portfolio that documents reality and interrogates the human condition with a singular perspective.
Open to artists in France.
