Manhattanville University's School of Arts and Sciences invites submissions for NEW WORKS at Manhattanville, a developmental reading initiative supporting the creation of new musical theatre. One original musical will be selected for a 29-hour reading in Fall 2027, performed by students in Manhattanville's Musical Theatre BFA program. Creative team members are expected to attend most or all scheduled rehearsals and both performances.
Creative teams developing new musicals may submit their work for consideration.
Open to artists anywhere.

One selected musical receives a 29-hour developmental reading performed by Musical Theatre BFA students in Fall 2027, a $1,000 stipend per creative team member including the director, and photo and video documentation.
