Costume Designer position for Musical Theatre West's production of The Prince of Egypt at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach, California. The designer will collaborate with the director and creative team to develop and execute costume design, research costume concepts, source and pull costumes from local rental houses, coordinate rentals and purchases within budget, and oversee the costume design process through opening. Must be locally based with reliable transportation, familiarity with Southern California theatrical costume resources, and experience managing large ensembles and costume budgets.
Experienced costume designers based in the Los Angeles or Orange County area with professional experience designing larger-scale musicals.
